With his childhood instrument of choice, guitar, Jaiah Lotus has always been involved in Nelson B.C.’s music scene. He brings with him the influence of Kootenay music teachers, Rick Lingard, Mike Hodsall and Andre Van Berlo into his work with guitar students at Nelson Studio 88.
Currently studying composition and writing at Selkirk College in Nelson, Jaiah is inspired by the dichotomies of rock and classical music. This open and unconventional approach makes him adaptable to each of his students’ desires and goals in his private lessons. Classes on for 10-12yrs Tuesday or Wednesday 3:30-4:30pm; 13+yrs Tuesday or Wednesday 5:30-6:30pm; Adult class Wednesday 7:00-8:00pm; Friday 10-12yrs 1:00-2:00pm. Classes begin September 20th – December 13th. Private lessons also available
