Returning to her hometown Nelson, BC, Janae Gauthier joins Nelson Studio 88 to teach private piano students.
Growing up Janae was part of Ellie Hedges’ original Nelson Studio 88 piano program for thirteen years. She taught other students in her last year before going to university and is thrilled to be back.
A graduate of Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec, Janae majored in music with piano as her main instrument. Diversity studies were part of her degree and she is deeply passionate about maintaining an inclusive environment while working with her piano students.
