Kelly Anast, born and raised in Nelson, BC, has been teaching for the past twenty-three years in elementary and middle school grades. Kelly believes in supporting, growing, and empowering her students’ confidence in their math skills, leading to self-reliance and perseverance in their learning journey.
She finds that hands-on activities, games reinforcing basic skills, logic puzzles, and real-life scenarios help maintain and build students’ math muscles.
