Youth Video Workshop — Ages 9–13
One hour. One script. One finished reel.
Every week starts with a new script or skit idea, and by the end of the hour you’ll have shot it. You’ll take turns in front of the camera and behind it — running the camera, holding the boom mic, setting the lights — on real professional gear, not phones.
Then the following week, the first thing we do is watch what you made.
You don’t have to be a performer. Some weeks you’ll want to be on camera, some weeks you’d rather be the one framing the shot, fixing the lighting, or punching up the script. All of those are the job.
Classes cap at 8, so everyone gets a turn at everything.
No experience needed. All equipment provided.
Workshops are led by Colin Burwell, a professional filmmaker, educator, and youth worker.
Wednesdays, 4:00–5:00pm. Open House December 14–17.
