Mixed Media (Art) — Ages 6–10 & 10–14

Make something you’re proud to hang on the wall.

In Mixed Media you’ll work across drawing, painting, collage, and whatever else we can get our hands on — charcoal, ink, acrylic, paper, texture, found materials. Some weeks you’ll learn a technique. Other weeks you’ll be handed a challenge and figure out your own way through it.

You’ll try things that don’t work, which is the point, and you’ll find the ones that do. By the end of term you’ll have a body of work that looks like you made it and nobody else.

New to art? Good — we start with the fundamentals and build from there. Been before? You’ll push further into your own style, with your instructor working with you one-on-one.

All supplies included. Just bring an apron or a shirt you don’t mind wrecking.

Work is shown at our Open House in December.

Try it first — come to a class on Tuesday, September 8 for $15. If you love it, we’ll put that $15 toward your term tuition.
3:30–4:30pm (ages 10–14) · 4:45–5:45pm (ages 6–10)
