Seneca Schones is a guitarist and producer based in Nelson. He graduated from Selkirk College’s Contemporary Music and Technology program with a diploma in music production, and has been working in both worlds ever since — playing and recording.
He produced and played on Fries and Gravy, the 2023 debut EP from Nelson singer Bella Cat, a mix of soul, rock, blues, and pop. With fellow Selkirk alum Anuj Sharma he’s toured across Canada, from Vancouver to Montreal.
Seneca has been teaching at Studio 88 for three years. He can take a student from a first chord to a finished track — guitar, bass, ukulele, and drums, plus production on studio software. All ages and all skill levels, from absolute beginners up.
