Beat Lab (Music Production) — Ages 9–12

Make the kind of music you actually listen to.

In Beat Lab you’ll build tracks from scratch on real studio software — laying down drums, stacking basslines and melodies, recording your own sounds, and mixing it all into something you can play for your friends. Every week there’s a new challenge: make a beat in 20 minutes, flip a sample, score a movie scene, remix a classmate’s track.

You’ll finish the term with a folder of finished songs that are yours, and you’ll play them at our end-of-term showcase.

New to this? Perfect — we start at the beginning and nobody gets left behind. Been before? You’ll go deeper into sound design, synths, and building your own signature sound.

All gear provided. Just bring your ideas (and headphones if you have a favourite pair).

Try it first — come to the first class on Monday, September 14 for $15. If you love it, we’ll put that $15 toward your term tuition.
